| Summary | Explore the power of art to honor diversity and children’s identities in early childhood classrooms! This powerful, hands-on, interactive workshop invites educators to engage, create, and reflect using music, painting, movement, and more. Participants will strengthen pedagogical skills in selecting inclusive materials, integrating multicultural perspectives, and designing experiences that empower every child. Emphasizing relational understanding and intersectional thinking, the session supports classrooms where every voice and identity is valued. Key Learnings: 1. Explore diverse visual and performance arts to understand culture and identity from an educator’s perspective. 2. Engage in hands-on art exploration using inclusive materials, guided by curiosity, reflection, and meaning-making. 3. Design inclusive, anti-bias art experiences that support children’s and families’ authentic expression. **To ensure a seamless experience, all participants are expected to arrive on time for the session.
