| Summary | The great outdoors is one of the richest classrooms we have — full of wonder, imagination, and discovery. This energizing session encourages educators to step outside (literally!) and rediscover the value of nature play. We’ll explore how outdoor experiences nurture problem-solving, creativity, and confidence, and how to bring the spirit of nature indoors when outdoor space is limited. You’ll leave with hands-on ideas, outdoor education strategies, and a renewed appreciation for the endless possibilities nature provides. Key Learnings: 1.Explain the role of play-based, outdoor, and risky play in supporting holistic child development. 2.Apply STEAM concepts through hands-on, developmentally appropriate learning experiences 3.Strengthen relationships and engagement through responsive, child-centred practices. 4.Design learning environments that promote curiosity, confidence, and problem-solving skills. **To ensure a seamless experience, all participants are expected to log in prior to the session to verify their technology and internet connectivity. Please be advised that late arrivals. defined as joining more than 10 to 15 minutes after the scheduled start time, will not be admitted. This respects the presenters time and supports the successful delivery of the full learning agenda** |
