Summary
Cultivating and mastering soft skills is essential in the changing and challenging environment of early childcare education. Whether interacting with children, parents, or other educators, communication skills play a pivotal role in your ability to connect in a meaningful way with confidence. In this 2-part series, we will examine active listening, how the heart “listens” and how being empathetic makes us better listeners, and overall more effective educators. Learn what soft skills are, and how using all of our senses help to build better relationships. Find out how patience and observation aids in developing a foundation of trust and respect, and discover the power of questioning and rephrasing, to gain a deep understanding before issues arise. By attending this series, you will boost your communication skills and become more engaged, empathetic, and a better active listener.

Part 2: Tuesday, May 14th, 7:00 - 8:30pm. You will automatically be registered for Part 2.
